Developing Operational Plans to Implement the School District’s Vision

The School District of Collier County moves into the second phase of work in the strategic planning process—operational planning teams. Eight teams have been identified, which will work to develop objectives, indicators and strategies to achieve their goals. These teams consist of both district employees and community leaders.

These team members are doing more than just talking about improving the school district. As David Moore noted, “We are looking for people who will roll up their sleeves and do the work.” These teams have been meeting almost weekly to critically assess what the district is already doing, and how it can be done even better.
